The Walk

We were walking around checking out some shops lining the street. It was a great day with partly cloudy skies. The only camera I had was my iPhone and I was snapping pictures here and there. My nephew watched as I was fiddling with the phone and he asked me why I was using the phone when I should have taken the big camera and lenses with me. I told him I didn’t want to lug the gear around with me that day and the camera I have with me is better than the camera back home so I was using the phone. He said the images wouldn’t be so good. I said what’s in the image is more important than the “Quality” of the image. To prove the point, I had him sit on the stone bench here and took this. He was impressed with the result and to tell the truth so was I. This turned out to be one of my favorite images!
