The only model I could get on such a short notice. At least she knew how to work the camera! Actually I saw this critter when I walked out my front door taking my doggie for a walk. Sorry Mr. doggie, the walk was delayed.
Blending In

Walking through a local park during the winter months after a record breaking summer drought, I thought their would nothing to shoot. Boy was I wrong again. This was a lonely leaf blending in with all the other dried up foliage, barely hanging from a scraggly weed/branch thing. What caught my eye about this was the light shining through the back of the leaf. Turned to a slight angle to the light it really brought out the highlights and shadows. After capturing and running the image through my favorite post process this little gem was born. Next stop, hanging on my wall
Running

This little Girl was having so much fun running around. I broke out my camera and was taking shots as she ran by over and over. I was using my tilt/shift lens in full tilt. I had to manually focus to approximately the distance she was running by (I used a chair next to me that was about the same distance away to focus on). After her running by a few times, I zeroed in for this shot. Below is a video of me working on the image in Photoshop. I speeded it up (fifteen minutes down to just over two) so it moves fast.
